“Chances are if you or your children played baseball in Wilbraham, you have Mike Farrell to thank for laying the foundation for the programs we have in place today.  Help perpetuate Mike’s legacy by contributing to the field named in his honor…The Michael J. Farrell Field at Spec Pond.

As many of you know, Mike Farrell passed away on August 31, 2008 at the age of 52. Mike was a successful businessman, college professor, husband, father, great friend, and generous man.  Whether you knew him or not, one thing you should know about Mike Farrell is that he loved BASEBALL!!! His passion was baseball! He played and coached little league, high school, college, Legion and Tri-County. His goal was to create for the town of Wilbraham and later, Hampden, a solid core of ball players who would continue to play the game he loved from youth, high school, college, and beyond.

The Friends of Mike Farrell invite you to celebrate his life and keep his memory alive. Join us for a fun day of good friends, good food, good company, and good memories.”

Our Goal Is To:
• Award the Michael J. Farrell Memorial Baseball Scholarship at Minnechaug Regional High School
